Barca duo ready for final
Wednesday, 27 May 2009
Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta have resumed full training ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
The duo had been doubtful for Barcelona's meeting with Manchester United in Rome on Wednesday.
However, both men came through a light work-out on Monday and will take their place in Pep Guardiola's travelling party.
Henry injured his right knee during Barcelona's remarkable 6-2 victory at Real Madrid on 2nd May, while Iniesta suffered a thigh strain during a 3-3 draw with Villarreal on 10th May.
France international Henry has scored 25 goals this season and will be hoping to resume his devastating three-pronged partnership with fellow hot-shots Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o.
Iniesta is also desperate to feature in the crunch European contest after snatching the last-gasp equaliser at Chelsea in the last four which sent the Catalan giants to the final on away goals.
